App Lock Pro ("we", "our", or "the app") is a privacy and security application designed to help users protect installed applications on their Android devices.

This Privacy Policy explains how App Lock Pro accesses, uses, stores, and handles information when you use the application.

1. Information We Access

App Lock Pro may access certain device information and permissions that are necessary to provide its core functionality.

Installed Applications

App Lock Pro accesses information about installed applications in order to allow you to select applications for protection and determine which applications should be locked.

This information is used for app-locking functionality and is processed on the device.

Usage Access

App Lock Pro uses Android Usage Access to determine which application is currently being used. This information is required to detect when a protected application is opened and display the App Lock authentication screen.

Usage information is used only for the app-locking functionality.

Display Over Other Apps

App Lock Pro may use Android's display-over-other-apps capability to display the lock screen when a protected application is opened.

Authentication Information

App Lock Pro allows users to configure a PIN, pattern, and/or biometric authentication.

Authentication credentials are used to protect the application and its locked-app settings.

App Lock Pro does not intentionally transmit your PIN or pattern to our servers.

Biometric authentication is handled by Android's supported biometric authentication system. App Lock Pro does not receive or store your fingerprint or biometric information.

Intruder Selfie

If you enable the Intruder Selfie feature and provide the required camera permission, App Lock Pro may use the device camera to capture photographs after unauthorized access attempts.

Intruder photographs are intended to be stored locally on your device for the security feature and are not intentionally uploaded to our servers by App Lock Pro.

You can disable this feature through the application settings where available.

Settings and Preferences

App Lock Pro stores application settings such as:

• Locked application selections
• Authentication preferences
• Auto-lock preferences
• Theme preferences
• Other application configuration settings

These settings are primarily stored locally on your device.

2. Advertising

App Lock Pro uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display advertisements.

Google and its advertising partners may collect and process information such as advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, diagnostics, and advertising interaction information according to their own policies and applicable settings.

Advertising data handling may vary depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google's advertising configuration.

3. Data Storage

App Lock Pro is designed to process core app-locking information locally on the user's device.

We do not operate a user account system or require users to create an account to use the core app-locking functionality.

We do not intentionally upload your PIN, pattern, locked-app list, or intruder photographs to our own servers.

4. Data Sharing

App Lock Pro does not sell users' personal or sensitive information.

We may use third-party services, such as Google Mobile Ads, that process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable terms.

We do not intentionally share your locally stored authentication credentials or intruder photographs with third parties.

5. Permissions

Depending on the features you use, App Lock Pro may request permissions or special Android access including:

• Biometric authentication
• Other permissions required by supported Android functionality

Permissions are requested to provide specific application features and should only be granted when you want to use those features.

6. Children's Privacy

App Lock Pro is not specifically directed toward children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through an account system.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by App Lock Pro.

Core security information is intended to remain on the user's device. However, no software or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Because core App Lock Pro settings and security information are stored locally, users can generally remove locally stored application data by using Android's application management controls or uninstalling the application.

Intruder photographs stored by the application can be removed by the user through the application's available controls or Android storage management.

Information processed by third-party advertising services is subject to the respective third party's policies and retention practices.

9. Third-Party Services

App Lock Pro may use third-party services including:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob)
Used to provide advertisements within the application.

Third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the application, services, or applicable requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
